Is Jacob Greenleaf the Father of Alexa’s Baby?

 In the final season of Greenleaf, we see Alexa again and we see that she now has a mixed child.  Base on the child’s age it made me think that she could be Jacob’s baby.   Let’s not forget that Jacob and Alexa were hot and heavy during season 1.  Jacob even asks Alexa if he is the father, and she states unequivocally that Jacob is not the father.  

If Jacob is not the father, then what was the point of showing this little girl in the first place?

Clearly, the show wanted us to at least consider that Jacob may have fathered another child.  Although Alexa denied that he was the father, I still think Jacob should ask for a DNA test or call Maury.
