Catch Merle Dandridge in The Last of Us on HBO

This week The Last of Us premiered on HBO.  One of the co-stars of the show is Merle Dandridge.  The Last of Us is based on a popular video game about a post-apocalyptic world. Dandridge reprises her role as Marlene, the leader of a resistance movement fighting against an oppressive military regime. The show was created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann.  It follows the journey of a hardened survivor named Joel and a 14-year-old girl named Ellie as they traverse across the U.S. and rely on each other for survival. The story takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed.
