Who Was the Best Choice for Grace Greenleaf, Darius or Noah?

When the series ended, Grace was off to New York and Darius offered to accompany her.  Noah stayed in Memphis and bought a house for himself and AJ.  The assumption is that Grace and Darius probably were going to end up being a couple in New York. 

I have seen some debate on social media as to who was the best choice for Grace.  Was it Darius or Noah?

 

Noah was Grace’s first love.  They have a long history and they share an adult child together.  Back in season 1, they had some nice chemistry, but for whatever reason, the show decided to go in another direction.  Noah had a chance to be with Grace, but instead, he married Isabel and moved to Colorado.  Once he did that, it was pretty much a wrap between him and Grace.

I think with Darius, there was not as much baggage.  He seems like a decent guy and can offer Grace some stability.  They both share a journalism background, so they have that in common.  I think the issue for them could be that Darius was basically an atheist and that makes him and Grace unequally yoked.

In the end, I don’t think I was either TeamNoah or TeamDarius.  I mostly just wanted Grace to finally find some happiness.
