Merle Dandridge Joins the Cast of the Upcoming HBO Series Last of Us

 

According to The Hollywood Reporter Merle Dandridge (Grace Greenleaf) will be joining the upcoming HBO Series Last of Us.  Last of Us is based on a video game franchise.  Dandridge will be playing the character Marlene who is the head of the Fireflies, a resistance movement struggling for freedom against an oppressive military regime.  Dandridge voiced Marlene in both the original 2013 game and last year’s sequel.

The cast also includes Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey and Gabriel Luna.

A premiere date for the series has not yet been determined.
